Curtis Junior Darrough

DARROUGH, Mr. Curtis Junior "Blow Fly"- Age 60, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center. Family and friends will gather in the sanctuary of North Star Missionary Baptist Church 1657 E. Broadway Flint, MI 48506 on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10AM, with service commencing promptly at 11AM. Pastor James O. Flowers, officiating. There will be no public viewing. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Curtis Junior Darrough was born July 10, 1953 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The son of Curtis and Rebecker Darrough. Mr. Darrough was a graduate of Flint Northwestern High School and was employed by General Motors Corporation. He had very high self esteem, was a fashion guru and very bold. Curtis loved playing chess, shooting pool, watching western movies and sharing famous quotes with family and friends such as: "Don't go for the Red Card", "Be Easy" and "Key to the game is Silence". He leaves to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Amber (Brian) Johnson of Grand Blanc, MI and Jessica Morris of Flint, MI; 5 grandchildren, Kiana Johnson, Brianne Johnson, Brianca Johnson all of Grand Blanc, MI, Monica Morris and Miyah Morris both of Flint, MI; 1 brother, Horace (Yvonne) Jones; 2 nieces, LaTonya (Renee) Blake and Casonya Jones; 3 great-nephews, Calvin Blake, Darius Ashburn and Montrell Weatherspoon; 2 aunts, Lessie Caudle of Flint, MI and Minnie Armstrong of Grand Blanc, MI; 4 uncles, Garland Jones of Flint, MI, Freddie (Jessie) Darrough of Swartz Creek, MI, Eddie (Val) Darrough of South Haven, MS and Joe Williams of Flint, MI; A host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends: Lorre Butler and Lee Demigo Butler. He was preceded in death by: spouse, Andrea Darrough; son, Curtis Darrough III; parents, Curtis and Rebecker Darrough; sister, Earline White, and step-mother, Suzie Darrough; The family would like to express special thanks to: Pastor James O.
